AJ Banal's gonna come back stronger than before. I like that kid, out of all the ALA Boxing gym boxers, including Boomboom, Amonsot, Z Gorres, Nietes, etc.

They just need to develop him slowly and build up his skills and endurance. Smooth little boxer.

alot of the boys out of the ala stable are struggling in vegas with the new trainers and sparring partners. i heard poor boom was getting slaughtered in there before his fight with ruiz. apparently, their training thus far with the ala coaches is grossly subpar. if they want to get further in the sport, they need to ditch them.

    Yeah.

I get excited watching AJ Banal move around in the ring. He's pretty advanced, techniques wise, for his age, as far as Filipino boxers go. Most Filipino fighters are usually sloppy brawlers first and they gradually improve their technique through time.

And he's got decent power too.

Domingo, Melligen, they'd be decent pros. Do well in a world title shot in the future, maybe. But not future top 20 p4p material, tbh.

AJ's got good potential. Still very young so he shouldnt be rushed.

THe ALA gym is a production line of green but talented young boxers from the countrysides. They try to develop their skills there. I'm sure there are lots of boxing noobs from the ALA gym. I see some new ALA kids during the local Sunday morning boxing shows.

I like their old school style black trunks. Looks nice.

After Ricky Williams won the Hisman and the Saints gave up all those draft picks to move up in the draft to select him. Big things were expected from him. Willams has had a pretty good career but not as good of one as was expected. Was traded to the Dolphans and retired so he could :rasta He latter made a comeback first playing in the CFL and latter returning to the Dolphans :D
David Tua he has the talent to reach the top but never has.
Zab Judah he was billed as Pernell Whitaker with power. He has been a good pro but should have been an all time great.

Junior Jones was the first guy I thought of when i saw the title.

Might be harsh for a man who beat Barerra twice but he looked set for HUGE things in the early 90's.

I'd put Kevin Kelley in that category too.
