Who was athletically more talented: Golota or Ibeabuchi

Anyone who's ever watched the Bowe-Golota fights can plainly see Golota was one of the most athletic and talented fighers of the 90s. His left jab was compared to Larry Holmes by a few boxing analysts, one being Larry Merchant. He threw awesome combinations, went to the body, great foot and head movement, threw his right hands straight and hard. Skill wise, Golota in his prime did everthing perfect except uppcuts. Also, see Golota-Corey Sanders. Golota's physical prime ended in '99 when he had a car accident that messed up his left shoulder. The Golota who fought post '99 has always been a shell of what he used to be.

 

Ibeabuchi should have LOST the decision to Tua. His greatest achievement is tainted by poor scoring.

Ike is very overrated on these forums.

 

Golota was a more talented fighter than Ike, but Ibeabuchi was the better fighter. Golota couldn't get his head together. He should have been a champion. Ike was a great finisher, and also very talented with a lot of power and a granite chin. but he ****ed himself and that girl. They are both great wastes of talent.
