Jacobs decided to not fight for a belt to gain a weight advantage, smartarse. It seemed to have mattered to him. The rules of boxing state that boxers are not to come in over the 10lbs from the weigh-in. Jacobs was rumoured to be 22lbs over.

He got dropped & tagged more because he was willing to trade. Did you know that in boxing rounds are won by usually out-landing your opponent? Well, you do now.

    1. Fighters face champions but choose not to fight for titles. It's not some freakish occurrence. Sometimes it's as simple as knowing you'll win another belt at the same time and not worth paying the sanctioning fees twice to then be forced into multiple less-than-stellar mandatories.

    2. "The rules of boxing state that boxers are not to come in over the 10lbs from the weigh-in."

That is 100% not true at all. Period. You are wrong.

    3. Jacobs was rumored to be 22 lbs over. Golovkin was rumored to be 25 lbs over. The rules of boxing state that they both followed the rules of boxing.

    Keep crying, my friend.

I don't count Foreman beating Frazier or Segura beating Calderon or Hopkins beating Oscar either. Oh wait. Of course I do. What a complete fool it would take to feel differently.

He's a very one track minded and biased individual. Punch stats don't tell the story though! Now they suddenly do LOL.

Most had Jacobs fight closer than Canelo. Somehow this pea brained detractor views that as "G fans trying too hard".

Did you know that professional boxing has a set scoring criteria? Like, it's not your opinion and it's not my opinion. There is a scoring criteria.

A good half of trainers and fellow boxers scored the fight for Jacobs. You don't see anything close to that with regards to Canelo.

But those punches should only be counted as scoring shots when landed clean. Range finding-putty pat jabs that are blocked, rolled or partially landed don't tell the real tale.

Canelo caused the more damaging clean shots landed. Lie to yourself all you want bro. Come rematch when your boy gets KO'ed, you'll have nothing but excuses later.

No. If you think Jacobs actually had the better performance then you're just pulling agenda. He took more damage and got KD idiot. Go moderate the lounge bro. Consensus of idiots does not mean anything. Try common sense.

Jacobs clearly did better than Canelo, and so do most of the board judging by the 19-3 score right now.

Byrd needs throwing off Niagra Falls.

I'm right and very proud I'm not with the consensus of idiots.

You are in the minority and the one with an agenda man. Let's just face it, both of us know this to be the case.

I thought Canelo fought with more heart, he just didn't have a gas tank. Where as Jacobs under performed, and was cool with the moral victory of not getting KO'd. Jacobs didn't engage nearly enough with power shots when he fought Golovkin.
