I could quote the multiple times you directly state that Jacobs broke rules, you know...

Either way. Glad we have established he didn't and now you can actually state your score without the fanboy asterisk next to it. Good night.

    Goodnight.
My asterisk still stands. Nice try though.

Oh, just before you go. If I was a fan boy defending GGG as you think I am why the **** would I have had DJ up by 1 round to begin with?

Because that is on par with what most trainers/boxers have said...?

You're a fanboy because you just made a thread full of excuses which are factually incorrect and push the "b, b, but I don't count it though!" opinion/agenda/asterisk/retelling.

Jacobs landed some really great shots on GGG, more powerful than Canelo's, but Canelo definitely has the better chin and defense. If these 2 ever fought it'd be a back and forth fight. I also think both fell short, but Jacobs did better.

they were both draws in a way, so in htat sense canelo since he came up a weight whereas jacobs was overweight.

but in reality jacobs lost by a whisker, and canelo drew so again canelos is better.

Bothe Canelo and Jacobs fought the fight of their lives. The difference is that Golovkin himself was in my opinion a bit worse himself on the night against Canelo than he was against Jacobs. Jacobs engaged a lot more and was looking for the win. Canelo ran a lot more and was looking to last the distance while having some good moments.

I honestly think that Jacobs would beat Canelo too, even though Canelo is maybe more pleasing to watch when he has his bursts of action.

If Jacobs had fought the entire bout as he did in Rounds 6-12, he would have done better against GGG than Canelo did.

I think he may have done better, anyways. Would have to review my scorecard. It might be close.

I think Canelo learned a lot from GGG-Jacobs.

Jacobs beats Canelo. For now, anyways. But Jacobs is older than Canelo and things might turn the other way in a few years' time.

    True, but it all matters.

There is no question in my mind that Canelo looked at what Jacobs did in GGG-Jacobs and said "that's what I need to do," what Jacobs did from rounds 6-12.

So, in other words, if you had both Jacobs and Canelo fight GGG again today, I think Jacobs would do better. Because he has more physical gifts.

But I know what you mean. What happened, happened.

    I don't recall my GGG-Jacobs scorecard.

What the two fights show, and what everyone should know by now, is that you cannot stand and trade with GGG. You will lose. At least to 35-and-under GGG. You have to use movement. That's your only real chance.

    Canelo.

GGG win by two. He beat Jacobs by 3 points IMO. Maybe even 4. Canelo frustrated him more. Never got the Jacobs controversy.. Was an intelligent jabbing clinic.
