Duran often stuggled to make lightweight, move up was natural one for him a she matured.
Leonard was prime when he lost to Duran, and Duran may have won second if he gave a real effort.
Pacquio is not done yet, if he keeps on this pace for 2 more years, he is better than Duran.

Duran almost always defended title in Panama as lightweight, under a dictator who sat ringside, with all 3 judges and ref from Panama. If Pac did same, fighting only in Philippines, I think people would be very pissed off.

Exactly and beating the Mexican legends past their prime is still a great accomplishment considering they were still the leaders of their divisions, but as a Mexican Ill tell you Durans win over Leonard, a prime Leonard, no one had done only Duran. Roberto would of been top 20 ATG on his lightweight career alone what he did at welterweight and beyond is just extra. That is why he is top 3 ATG. No catchweights and not trying to hate on Manny, but its the truth. Manny doesnt really need catchweights he'll still beat them, but for EVERY fight using catchweights I think its hurting his legacy. Duran beat the Floyd of his generation Manny needs to beat the Leonard of his generation. I wouldnt even compare Manny to Roberto until that happens.

Funny thing...take out one fight for each boxer and let's see who has more significant wins..

Take out 3 losses in each fighter how losses does each fighter have?! LoL!

Who held more titles in different divisions?!
Who streched himself in terms of weight class to the max?!

Duran's era I would consider more of the domination of lightweight in the 70's to which he is the greatest lightweight of all time probably. Duran is better for his era. Duran would dominate all of Pac's fab four. All of Durans fab four would beat Pac including Duran.

Okay I may be exaggerating a bit by saying Duran would dominate Pacs fab four, but he would definitely decisively beat them all.

This really should have stopped at Duran dominated his division and then went on to beat a PRIME UNDEFEATED TRUE #1 WW at WW no 145 bullshyt.

Duran would do the same with Manny's level of opposition...Manny would not with Duran's.

Manny's consistency and crazy weight jumping probably might mean he deserves the distinction of "being better in his era"..depends how you are looking at it.

Duran was probably a better fighter, but Pac is more dominant in his era than Duran was in his.

I would disagree. He was at the very least as dominant. Duran started 72-1.

He beat Ernesto Marcel, Esteban De Jesus twice by stoppage, Ken Buchanan, Carlos Palomino, and Sugar Ray Leonard in that time frame, not to mention the other contenders/solid fighters such as Villa, Lampkin, Thompson, etc.
