Lol! Right. Just ask Byrd, Brock, Chagaev, Ibragimov, Peter, Brewster etc. That right hand that 41 year old Wladimir dropped Joshua with would have made Lewis take a nap. Besides I don’t think it would have been the right hand that would’ve flattened Lewis... it would have been that quick lead left hook out of nowhere by Wlad.
Wlad is not going undefeated until the age of 38 with that kind of opposition. He may have taken like 7 losses.
He'd be favored over everyone except for maybe Ruddock, but I think Lewis was an underdog for that too. Both Lewis and Wlad took a couple loses thatt seemed unlikely going in. Either guy could replicate or improve on the other's results, pretty obviously.
Who's 'he' again? Didn't even clarify that in the prior post i asked, soberly. Lewis demolished Razor Rudduck too. EDIT: If you were talking about Wlad versus Lewis' comp. I'd take The mercer Lewis fought, McCall, Holy (maybe...), Bruno, Tony Tucker, and Golota over Wlad.
Kid, momma's asking if you remembered to fetch the bread and milk from the store. Here's some change for a lollipop.
Highly doubt that. McCall would be trouble for a pre-Steward Wlad. He couldn't KO him and so would gas like he did vs Puritty and Brewster. Lewis fought McCall in his 26th fight, Wlad was stopped by Puritty in his 25th fight. No way that Wlad that fought Puritty beats McCall. Prime Mercer too likely beats Wlad if they fight in that tiny ring Lewis fought him in, that or disqualified for excessive clinching as he's unable to get way in such a small ring. Wlad may have KO'ed an ancient Mercer, doing so against prime Mercer is a much more difficult task, even Briggs KO'ed an old Mercer.
