How did you come to the 80% theory? Maybe you mean the Lewis who had faced nothing but C level opposition since Holyfield and Vitali was his first live opponent. Like a fine wine remember.
Watch that fight again Ruiz complained EVERY time Kirk threw a body shot & Cortez agreed. only TWO blows from Kirk were actually low. One of those was right after the most blatant headbutt Ive ever seen from Ruiz which Cortez ignored Kirk KO'd Ruiz but got shafted
Johnson was horrible and he was behind on the cards. It says something when Ruiz not only beats you but is more entertaining.
Why did you retire you Papilion account? Is it cos your true nature was exposed that time you got booted.
What you talking about Willis? Why have you blocked your profile page? To ashamed of being shown up? You are like seagull **** on any Wlad topic.
Obviously you never really saw the fight. Kirk & I watched that fight in slow motion at every supposed low blow MOST were perfectly legit body blows as was the final one that Cortez DQ'd Kirk on. The corner told Kirk to stay away from the body as they were l.ooking for a DQ Kirk said " Why stay away theyre gonna rob me anyway" I knew both Kiek & Ike personally the whole time they were in Dallas with Curtis Cokes Both were capable of winning a title, both were denied for very different reasons
I realise you knew Kirk and Ike personally....you tell everybody in every single heavyweight topic. Both was denied.... 1. Because one was a sexual predator. 2. The other just wasn't good enough.
Lewis retired there's a difference, did Vitali duck Stiverne when he retired after delaying his mandatory 3 times I believe. Lewis already had the win over Vitali and clearly wasn't up for another hard camp, Lewis at that point was looking for easy fights with a shot Tyson again or Johnson, he was basically going through the motions at the time, his commitment wasn't what it was and it almost cost him vs Vitali. Lewis didn't duck the rematch with Mercer. They actually agreed a rematch in 96 and it was all signed and sealed with Mercer getting $100K but Mercer backed out according to Duva. Lewis definitely needed Lewis to refine his skills to achieve what he did, no denying that but so did Wlad and I think Wlad needed Steward far more than Lewis did.
The only difference was Lewis held the title hostage for a large part of the year prior to deciding to retire. I personally have no problem with Lewis retiring. But let's be honest Vitali which ever way you think about it pushed Lewis into retirement. Vitali wasn't a hypejob like Grant, he wasn't the corpse of Tyson, he wasn't Tom Thumb Tua or Botha, he was the first solid fighter and I think he realised that in the cold light of day....which alludes me to agreeing with you about easy payday...he didn't want or need to go the Vitali route again.
You never met either one I saw both on almost a daily basis so I think I knew them better than you One proved he was good enough but got shafted Also when it comes to a he said she said situation I'd believe the word of a man I'd known for years over that of a Vegas hooker. When he called her he gave away his fife & career. Ike was no angel but neither was he the monster you seem to think he was
Ive never said Vitali was a hype job EVER!!! The bottom line is Lennox Lewis TKO'd Vitali Klitschko LEGITIMATELY!!!! Lennox won Vitali lost just accept the facts End of story
