Kinda disagree there Luf... I think SRL takes it in Skill set as he as clearly the more complete technical fighter.. If you mean skill as athleticism... sure I agree.

I mean skill as in how skilled a fighting machine each was.

In laymans terms I think Jones was a better p4p fighter than Ray.

I don't disgree there.. as I already posted that I think Roy was a better h2h fighter in his best division and the better P4P fighter.. But you you reference the word skill.. usually that means skill set and technical ability.. and in that area.. I just don't see how Jones can be rated higher than SRL with all the technical flaws he had. Sure he could get away with them because of the athlete he was.. but it doesn't mean they aren't there.

So we agree and just use the word skil differently. Just semantics really.

Whatever lead Griffin had was gone by the time of the DQ. Roy was winning by two or more points by the time he was disqualified.

There's a difference between being unorthodox and lacking technical skill. Roy was unorthodox. Jermain Taylor lacked skill. There's a large difference.

Because Jones didn't stand like Ricardo Lopez at all times means he lacks "fundamentals" for those who look to nitpick.
