Id say unless you are at a tournament as an am yes time wise, top pros will go abroad early to prepare and time to visit, minimal. Guess the mind is on the fight, but agree go abroad and enjoy the experience.

Quite right, they would have stood a good chance of both winning titles in the alphabet periods, well remember going to a picture house in the early hours, back in 74 to see Finnegan and Stracey both challenge for European titles against two exceptional French boxers, they being the strong and muscular Roger Menetrey, and the rugged resilient Jean Claude Bouttier, both the brits were heavy underdogs, but both pulled out excellent wins, Stracey in the typical Lawless style ground down his opponent, for a 7th round stoppage, not many WWs at the time would be expected to do that, and Finnegan boxed like a dream to outpoint Bouttier, mind you it was 4 in the morning, and I had a few sherrys before hand so...... stay safe matey, chat soon.
