Just the complete boxer-puncher. I love it. Being able to move on your toes, a stiff hard jab but also a great uppercut, hook; the inside works... outstanding stamina and a rock hard chin.

Which fighters approached that closest? Ezzard Charles at lightheavyweight? Alexis Arguello at lightweight? They need not be great ones though; i'm just looking for fighters that resemble.

Some say that Robinson's defence was not great, i disagree, his brilliant footwork that allowed him to move in and out with the most powerful and speedy attacks were a great defence in itself imo. I think Shane Mosley was goin' for the same style, just not as good at it

    Bingo! Mcvey.

More China in his chin but the same silky smoothness, ferocity, flare for the dramatic and taste in threads.

Ez was like ice, a cold dispatcher, a precursor for Donald Curry, but no heat.

Ike had Sugar's arsenal and temperment -- a stone killer!

When Jimmy was "off the leash," SQ, he was a destroyer, a poised predator with as compact a left hook as you've ever seen -- a helluva fighter!

Burley was a wily evasive boxer /puncher who used feints and upper body movement to get his opponent to commit so he could counter,he didnt get hit as much as SRR.
