Pavlik, he was totally shut down while being a 4 to 1 favorite. Maliganaggi was not expected to win against Hatton, the fight took the course everyone expected it to take. Cotto-Marg was a competitive fight, no one was exposed.

he didn't get exposed. he lost to the p4p #1 at a higher weight, which everyone expected. he made it more competitive and a better fight than pavlik and malignaggi did. but it didn't expose anything, pbf is the only one who would probably beat him at 140.

You don't get "exposed" by losing just 1 fight. So no Cotto and Pavlik weren't exposed.

As for Malignaggi, well I never really rated him that high to begin with. Always thought Paulie's no match for Hatton. So in that sense, I don't think he got "exposed" as well.

IMO Pavlik flaws had already been exposed in several other fights before he took on Nard.

Even though in this thread he would the number 1 choice...I think if people had opened their eyes earlier they would have expected that someone was going to do this to him someday.

I honestly didnt think it would be Nard, Ill admit I didnt pick him to win. But I still thought he had enough to make Pavlik look real bad and one-dimensional, I just shook my head at the amount of people who thought a guy like Pavlik would be the one to stop Hopkins. In the end I just underrated how physically competitive Hopkins still was.

None were exposed but Pavlik was certainly proved as being overrated. KP fanboys were convinced that he'd KO the likes of BH and JC but we all know the outcomes.

    Paulie.. Lost to a Brit!!!!!

WTF! so what if a Brit beat him, what everyone who gets beat by a brit is exposed, So i am guessing Tyson was exposed, Hopkins was exposed, Kostya Tszyu was exposed. Why haven't you put Cotto, Lost to a Mexican aswell?

Exposed is Andy Lee getting his ass handed to him by Brian Vera.
Losing to Margarito, Hopkins, and Hatton hardley qualifies as being exposed.

Paulie Maglianaggi is really limited tp begin with. He is just a Brooklyn kid with an attitude and a big mouth. I was glad to see him shut up.

Huh, Malignaggi had been shown up long ago if you'd been watching his fights closely.

I don't like to used the word exposed, because its usually certain areas of a fighter that are exposed. Pavlik's (lack of) speed, defence, and adaptability were shown.

Cotto's stamina, and maybe size and strength compared to a big guy.

None of them got exposed....just beat by better men. Paulie wasn't ever hyped to be honest...he had a strong NE following but that's about it....

Cotto is and always will be a very good fighter.....he may have been over hyped but his ability and skills are top notch. Will he be a DLH or Bhop...NO.

Pav like Cotto is a very good fighter....may have been a little over hyped but most is deserved. He'll be a dominant MW champion for a couple of years but "Exposed" No...everyone or at least boxing fans with knowledge knew what Kelly lacked defensively and Bhop was able to prove that there were holes in Kelly's "D"....unfortunately not everyone is Bernard Hopkins who can highlight these problems in a fightrer like Kelly.
