I wasn't around in 1980 but just wondered to who ever was who was favoured among the pundits? Also, who did you think would win and what was your reaction when Duran won.
Leonard was the overwhelming favourite. Duran was seen as over the top although he wasn't taken lightly. I remember watching the fight with my Dad and both of us being amazed that "Old man" Duran could go at that pace for 15 rounds. It was a victory that shook Boxing to its core at the time.
