Chavez is the greater fighter, but due to the size difference and the fact they started at different weights, Tito wins H2H.

I dont think Cotto can beat chavez.... in fact Cotto is about to step up to Marg who is close to Chavez style as for putting pressure and above average chin...however chavez has the better boxing skills and nastier body shots

Chavez had upwards of 30+ championship fights meaning he faced more than 30 quality opponents. Some of those opponents include Whitaker, Camacho, Rosario, Ramirez, Taylor, Haugen, Martinez, etc. He fought De La Hoya and Tszyu when he was faded.

Chavez would beat the hell of out Coto at 140.

meldrick taylor didnt have great boxing skills, i know you did'nt say he did, but im just saying he had good boxing skills but his handspeed was so damn quick that people just presumed that he had great boxing skills, if he did have great boxing skills his face would not have looked like it got hit by a brick building in his fight against jcc.

if he got hit by a brick when he fought JCC that just means he didnt have the greatest defense wouldnt you say? I believe Cotto shares this as well and Chavez would do the same to Cotto.

Chavez at 140 and Tito at 147. I answered the thread wrong. Who can beat who or who is greater. Is he talking about all round or resume? If for instance we could throw Tito at 135 or 140, Chavez would chop him down late. I am not a Chavez fan, but he was a great fighter at 130, 135, and 140. He was like a fish out of water at 147.
