    I was in Carson. Just not at the fight. :D

    I contemplated on going but got home from work around 7:30. Though I live 2 miles from the Home Depot Center, Rios has annoyed me so much in the past that I didn't want to spend a dime on the guy. He's a great fighter though and I'll be sure to watch him live the next time. I just won't watch his interviews anymore.

    BTW, great pictures. I was there last for the Williams-Cintron fight.

    You should have went, teh atmosphere was amazing, I thought to myself if Antillon some how pulls off an upset and dogs rios nasty... We may want to hide under the ring until everybody clears out...

    I take it you were highley offened by Rios's comments about Roach...? come on now its not like you and Roach are close friends with years of friendship between you two...

    No, not really. Yes, it was offensive, but here's how I view it:

    Margarito => funny

    Rios => annoying

    Grito Mexicano => alright

    Rios doing Grito Mexicano => annoying


    Everything Rios does is annoying, except his boxing.

    Again lets keep in mind why we follow these guys and stop assuming that their each and every moment of their lives is to serve us... Rios is a true throwback fighter.... reminds me alot of Gatti.

    Yes, that's why I said I'll watch him next time. He's got some underrated speed too and decent defense. I now want to see what he can do at 140. I think he murders Khan with one punch. Maidana would be good. Ortiz would be great with the bad blood between their trainers of which I'm not sure if it has affected the 2 former Kansas fighter's personal relationships.

    I had very good seats, However still ticket off that the two bars on the floor ran out of Tecate before the cintron fight started, However I did find Pacifico upstairs....

    What a fathers day gift.... :good

    Most people didnt come down to their seats until the main event started, most were in line getting beer, food or at the restroom...
    look at the seats in the background when Rios and Antillon were fighting...

    nice dude, that makes for a nice evening, I would have liked to have gone, but I had some unprecedented medical bills, and the IRS auditing me, I will be strapped for cash for a while.
