Who was/is more overrated? Prince Naseem Hamed or Amir Khan?

Naseem was a damn good fighter, and most feel Khan is a KO waiting to happen. Both are undersold, neither was overrated.

 

Khan has shown he can comeback from the most devastating of losses.

You cant say the same for Hamed.

Khan is still developing. Little too early to be making that comparison.

 

10-1 against World Champions. Stopped 8. And Unified the division. Wasnt as good as the Mexican 3. But doesnt mean he wasnt damn good.

 

Neither of them is overrated. Khan is young and still improving and has already proven his many haters wrong winning a belt and being a major player at 140.

Hamed was a very good fighter, with great power and could deliver his punches from such awkward angles that he was always dangerous. He cleaned out his division and was rightfully ranked the best featherweight. It took an ATG boxer like MAB to beat him, and sure that loss was a bad one, and him not making a rematch looks bad. That is why no-one is considering an upper echelon ATG. He's more known for being the most exciting and flamboyant flyweight in history, and he proved that with the interest and money he generated.

He also beat Sanchez, Medina, Vasquez, Kelley, and Ingle. Aswell as the other champions he beat. Hard to unify an entire division and call a fighter overrated. I mean he would have held ALL the belts. Meaning THE champion.
