Who the **** cares? They weren't at the peak of their careers when Hamed faced them. So Mike Tyson knocking out a fat Larry Holmes means something because he was a world champion in the past, give me a ****ing break with that biased twisting of facts.

Lol just shut the ****. Im tired of reading your bull****. Everyone from 1990 on is a *****. Everyone from 1990 on is ducking everyone. Everyone from 1990 on is a cherry picker ect ect ect.

Morales, Barrera and Marquez are seen as better then Naseem. By almost everyone. But that doesnt mean Naseem wasnt a helluva a fighter. In todays featherweight he'd pretty much dominate and hand out severe ass whippings to everyone.

Sorry there is nothing overrated about Prince Naseem if you actually seen him fight. He was exciting, almost guaranteed KO, and brought life to the featherweight division it hadnt seen in a long time.

Naseem Hamed is one of the most overrated fighters in ****ing history. He fought cans throughout his entire career. An over the hill Kelly gave him problems and when he fought a world class fighter in Barrera he got his ass handed to him. And what did he do after? He retired because he realized that he is not that good and had been buying his own hype.

That's all you give a **** about is excitement, you don't give a damn if someone proves themselves.

You can't really compare. Khan is good, Hamed however will go down as one of the UK's best fighters.

He was an exceptionally gifted boxer and a great entertainer. Seeing him sparring prior to the ingle split was awe inspiring

Anyone who says he was overrated doesn't know a great deal about boxing and usually has issues with his personality and this is the only way they can deal with it by spouting shite.

In the end he came unstuck when his ego got so large he felt he didn't need to train and was put in the ring with the legend that is MAB. People like AlisJab who've only ever seen the highlights like to say that Hamed was completely destroyed over 12 rounds, which isn't really the case, he did well, however it was a clear MAB decision.

Please continue frothing at the mouth and crying in angst and upset AlisJab, whatever you do will never change what's happened.

Good, he's a hero in the UK, when it was time for Hamed to put up or shut up, he failed. He was proven to be overrated in the damn ring. All of those wins he piled up in the UK were regional home cooked victories. I loved his skills and bought the hype at one point in time too, until I saw him struggle against old ass Kelly in New York. That fight was a ****ing disgrace to boxing.

Hahaha you're clueless. The Kevin Kelly fight did more for boxing than some fighters manage to achieve in their whole careers.

and.. a Hero in the UK?, I can safely assume you're not from here

Hamed at the peak of his powers was something else. To overrate him you would need to class him right at the top of your lists. Most people do not, so he is rated just fine by the boxing fans.

No **** Kelly did, he fought in great scraps, and came out on top in a lot of them, by the time he fought Hamed he was SHOT.

You are the one saying Hamed is one of the best boxers in UK history, that's pretty sad actually.

Again, your understanding of boxing appears to be almost nothing. Just because he was one of Britains best boxers doesn't mean people thought he was a legend. They hated him due to his personality.

I imagine it makes Naz's days knowing that 9 years later there's people like you still crying about him

First of all when Hamed fought guys who could throw a meaningful punch he got knocked down when he got caught, just like Khan, just like Gamboa.

Kelly was way past his prime and Naz acted like he just won the ****in world cup after that fight.

Naz was a great young prospect, he had fast hands and very good power for a fighter his size. His problem was, he was cocky and believed everything his fans and media showered him with.

When he got in there with Barrera, a real great fighter, he was embarrassed.
