Reid was dirty as hell... I saw him punch Ottke right in the face in their bout!
He was lucky he didn't get disqualified right on the spot! Seriously, he punched him right in the face for all to see, and all the ref did was give him a warning. No wonder why people hate Tilleman as a referee! :bart

Looks like Carl Froch has been proven wrong by the opinion of hardcore boxing fans.

Benn's probably the most exciting supermiddlweight ever but Collins toughest I think .Calzaghe the best .

Could have a quality mix at supermiddleweight today as well .Darren Sutherland , Groves , Anderson and Degale .For me Anderson would be the toughest but Sutherland the best .You don't know what Groves and Degale would have to say about though quality mix .

    Darren Sutherland is dead.

Quite weird that there are 0 votes for Calzaghe. His fights with Delaney, Eubank, Brewer and Mitchell were quite exciting.

    Benn easily.

After that I'd say Froch, even his easiest fights at the top level have been fun to watch, because at any minute you were expecting him to **** up or the opponent to show us what made them the favourite over him in the first place.

    Froch.

Sorry, but most of Benn's exciting fights, with the exception of McClellan, were at Middleweight. I appreciate the fight that Benn always tried his heart out and came to fight. If the poll were most exciting Middle/Supermiddleweight ever, I'd choose Benn.

Dean Francis ranks highly, and maybe Murray Sutherland.

Most exciting Benn hands down!! Out of the list of 9 Calzaghe would win the most head to heads IMHO but not the most exciting...

Agree that benn became much more rounded later on, after moving up.

I voted froch but on reflection it's still probably benn, if only for mclellan, which probably exceeds anything froch has been involved in for sheer rawness

Benn was extremely exciting against Galvano (I) coming forward, Eubank (II) when he opened up, the finish on Piper and Nardiello, the Gent fight period, the anticipation in Wharton fight, the McClellan fight period, the Perez fight (Benn was nearly stopped!), and he even KD'd Malinga heavily and out-barroom-brawled Collins before being pulled out twice.

Benn all the way with mentions in despatches for Froch, Eubank & Collins.

I'm a fan of Calzaghe but exciting isn't a word I'd use to describe him
