Golota was not prime on that night in fact he should never have fought. From the NY TIMES

One side effect of the drug is seizures, and if someone is hypersensitive to lidocaine, it can cause cardiac arrest. Duva said he does not know if the drug caused Golota's seizure.

Golota stopped breathing and lost his pulse for 35 seconds and was revived through cardiopulmonary resuscitation, before being taken to the Atlantic City Medical Center.

I believe Golota won 1.4 million on suit over this. Just look at his ring entrance you could see he was "off"

His best opponent was Vitali, by a long stretch. Whether Vitali was "prime" or not is another matter. I think he was close to it.

Vitlai was the best Lewis fought, but I'd argue he was even better post Lewis

vitali, in his awesomeness, chose when he became prime, and waited till he was 40 before reaching it, by asking his fans when they wanted him to be prime.

    kliturd self destructs once again

    Yep.

Had he won, the Klitturds would be telling you it was his best ever performance, as he got cut to shreds, like the schoolgirls they are, they say he wasn't in his prime.:patsch

It is only to be expected.

I worked out what the kliturds mean. When they say vitali isn't prime, they mean he isn't "Prime" Minister of Ukraine!

That makes a lot more sense...vitali clearly wasn't a prime minister when he fought lewis, but he surely will become "Prime" Minister some time in his 40s or 50s/

Vitali Klitschko is probably about as close of a guess to a best "prime" opponent as anyone can really get. But I really don't think he has any standout foes who clearly take the cake. VK just seems to be the most obvious. Lennox probably had about 4 or 5 prime victims who were all very close in quality, ie. Ruddock, Golata, Tua, Briggs, Grant and with Vitali being in the lead as the best of them. Incidentally I think Lewis beat a still very good "past" prime version of Holyfield. Evander wasn't at his best by any means but still better than a lot of the guys Lewis beat at their peak.
