Pacquiao. Just an overall higher workrate.

Floyd is a very efficient fighter so it's no knock, he will slow the pace of a fight and use defence to nullify your workrate. He won't try and match it...he doesn't need to. Could he? maybe but that leaves room for error. Pacquiao is a like a crack demon.

Whether you like it or not Floyd waited out crack demon Pacquiao for post menopause Marquez planked Pacquiao with good reason...

Athleticism is one of the clearest 'Top Trump' categories where Pac is better than Mayweather IMO

Only a moron would equate punch volume with athleticism.

Margarito threw 1675 vs Clottey. What person in their right mind would then say Margarito is more athletic than Pacquiao?

They were both exceptionally athletic in their primes. There isn't a way to definitively prove one was more athletic than the other. Both were deceptively strong or powerful, both had exceptional speed and agility, endurance. They each used the skills in different ways so I'd say it is generally a matter of preference.

Both had legendary athleticism incl. perfect body control & energy levels over the championship rounds.

While Pacquiao's more obviously athletic for the untrained eye, Floyd micro-adjustments and inch-perfect hand, shoulder, foot and upper body control helped him with his defense and counters - talent alone doesn't make you go 50-0. Now one boxer that sparred with both said to me 15 yrs ago that Floyd's energy level is something else: he had several 15-minute sparring rounds and never stopped coming at you until 5-6 of his partners quit exhausted & bloody. This contradicts his boxer-first style in fights tho, but the source is very trustworthy.*

    * the source is your mum if you are wondering

You calling Margarito an athletic beast proves you have no idea what athletic actually means.

Pbf is. faster reflexes faster feet and better balance. Pac throwing with power or more punches a round doesn't make him a better athlete. Things like reflexes and hand eye coordination make people good athletes. When they fought it was clear pbf was the better athlete he was the faster fighter of both hand and foot.

The word athletic means speed and fluidity of movement to most people it seems. Both Pac and Floyd have this.

I was just thinking how stamina and high volume are not seen as an athletic quality by a lot of people. But if you think about, how is performing a physical activity at a high rate without tiring not an athletic quality? It definitely is.

Seems like explosiveness, flexibility, speed, fluidity = athleticism

Strength, endurance, durability, power = not athleticism
