Who was more eroded? Jones from the Calzaghe fight or Tyson from the Lewis fight?

hes full of ****. if he you saw the fight, he looked slow as hell, and definately out of shape. he looked horrible. back in the day, rooney would never have allowed tyson to come in like that. luckily for tyson, his opponent was fatter then him

Tyson wasn't fat,he wa sreally cut actually.Nielsen was fat indeed.

He did look slow but Nielsen only wanted to survive and kept a tight guard up and tied Tyson up when they came close.

Still he got whooped bad and quit on the stool.

you compare him at 220,his PRIME wieght, its not the same. the bottom line is whenever he significantly over 220, you know its not a good sign. tyson has no busines being that heavy but what do expect for a guy who lives that type of lifestyle.

If Tyson was at his prime weight he would knocked Nielsen out in the first round. Weight don't mean **** if you can't hit the target. And weight doesn't mean you hit harder either and Tyson was a much harder hitter at his best compared the shot version that fought Neilson and Lewis. He was slow as **** for both fights and that takes away from your snaps in your punches.

Yeah but Tyson was always a puncher and that's usually the last thing to go.(and even that wasn't the same) Jones didn't have punching power like Tyson did and that was the only hope Tyson had because all of his other physical attributes were gone.

I always felt that was a copout on Mike's part. Would a prime Tyson have bothered to do anything out of the ordinary in his preparations to fight Brian Nielsen's chubby ass? He was just not in top shape and made up an excuse.

Yes.But he said it so.........excuse or not.

A prime Tyson would have knocked him out quicker but to be fair Nielsen didn't wanna fight.

Tyson at least Jones had been fighting regularly.

Tyson was to have a tune up fight with Mercer in the January prior to the Lewis fight.

Lewis took him to court on the account that if Tyson lost or was injured it would jeprodise HIS fight and big payday.

The court ruled in Lewis's favour and the fight was postponed.

By the time Tyson got in the ring he hadnt fought in something like 15months and had very little rounds.

    Jones

Because Tyson still had his punching power and a decent chin

Jones had to spend the fight against the ropes guaranteeing defeat because he didnt have the legs to do anything else

Clearly Tyson. Shields said half the training camp Mike either showed up late or not at all. It is amazing he lasted 8 rounds.
