Who was more of the complete package 86' Tyson or 83' Holmes?

    I say tyson.............holmes was a little past his best in 83....rocky nite with witherspoon.....in 86 version of tyson/berbick woulda beat holmes/witherspoon version...

    Tyson, by far. Tyson could box, hit like mule, and his hand speed was great. He had great foot movement and defense. He was complete package over just about anyone in division. At no point n his carreer could same be said for Holmes.

    Tyson lost to Tillis in the amateurs, it's only realistic to assume he'd struggle with a guy he lost to in the amateurs.

    He lost to Tillman in the amateurs, not Tillis.

    83 Holmes.

    More battle tested against a higher level of opponent IMO.

    Tyson was amazing, but Holmes more complete.
