And in all fairness, Ortiz has nobody on his resume either. The fact alone that he is Wilder’s most notable win proves what a protected hype job Wilder has always been.

Wilder has nearly as many successful heavyweight title defenses than all of them combined.

(Adamek got knocked out by Molina and lost to Szpilka, for god's sake.)

Usyk's biggest accomplishment is flooring Fury and successfully defending against him. Wilder did that too, but he dropped Fury twice.

Holyfield did beat better fighters than Wilder. Of course, he did. Evander also came the closest to Wilder in terms of giving up weight to opponents. Although, Holyfield did have the occasional Bobby Czyz thrown in there.

But nobody would call any of the others "protected" and always brought up the weight disadvantages they faced as an example of that, even when they were fighting 40-year-olds or Buster Douglas.

Something nearly none of you do when considering Wilder.

People act like Wilder was some beast feasting on tiny fighters ... when he was the scrawny guy knocking out guys you wouldn't expect Wilder's peers from his amateur days to move up and KO as shockingly as he did.

A hundred or so people seem to be lost.

I think I recall a thread on here involving Wilder where he lost a poll to Butterbean by a similar count.

    So nothing new. ;)

    Haters are gonna hate.

As the saying goes, what's right isn't always popular. And what's popular isn't always right.

Seriously, I have to go now.

Defending a title won against Stiverne doesn't impress me I'm afraid.

Who has Wilder beat that you consider to be a top victory?

It's Wilder. Before he started getting big pay day title fights he ran his record to something like 40-0 with 40 kos lol.

The Bodybuilder has a boat load full of sore loosers, as evident here....Resume dis , resume dat.....

Wilder dis Wilder dat..............at least Wilder never got rolled by a Tub of Lard spitting his mouth piece out and quit........or got beaten like a red headed step child from a guy who was stopped by a Cruiser with a jab

The absolute irony would be if a Wilder/AJ fight would get signed and the current totally washed up Ghost of Wilder finds that glass making AJ do the head stand again...............pure Gold.

Since you refer to Joshua as The Bodybuilder and you are bigging Wilder up, I'm assuming you are a Fury fan.

    That Cruiser also did this:

    This content is protected

So, just to use your parlance: at least The Bodybuilder wasn't made to bounce helplessly from corner to corner like a pinball. The Cruiser did that to a certain bald Tub of Lard whose brain was so scrambled from the severe beating he got from the Cruiser that he started wishing everyone a happy new year in May.

    Ironic, isn't it?

Difficult (and sensitive) topic for me.
Wilder without a doubt was more protected, i mean the guy basicly fought some local bricklayers (i believe there even was a postman on the list)- but ducking Wilder does not make Joshua come out unscathed in this discussion. 2017-2020 still is dissapointed. But it is time to move on.

I love how the resident Wilder fan boy here brings up Wilder's highly controversial draw vs Fury to make a case for Wilder and tries to compare it with Usyk’s title defense vs Fury lol.

Big difference is Wilder won no more than 3 or 4 rounds vs Fury and no fan believes the draw was legit hence it has a major asterisk over it unlike Usyk’s clear win over Fury.

The very fact one judge somehow had Wilder winning 115-111 was an absolute travesty and was obviously corrupt.
