It doesn’t matter that Audley was ‘shot’. He was absolutely garbage. He was scared to throw punches and timid even against no hopers he fought early in his career. Price wasn’t anything great but he came to fight. Audley was just awful all around. He had not a single redeeming quality as a fighter. At least Price had some power and was willing to throw punches.

Audley Harrison at 29. Does he "look scared to throw punches" against this two-time Olympian? Do you think the guy in this clip would lose to a 41-year-old David Price today? Hell no.

Nothing you guys say is based on fact. You're just regurgitating the same garbage about a guy who you only apparently saw fight when he was an old man.

I'd say Harrison. He was by far the more accomplished amateur winning Olympic gold and I think he was more talented but the problem with Audley was he made a lot of money very quickly and managed his own career and that had to have been a distraction. Instead of spending time being a boxer he was working on deals, endorsement and all the other distractions. He also had addiction issues with drugs and gambling which can't have been good for his career. I don't think he would have ever been world class but he could of possibly had a better career than he did.

Price got a lot of hype due to his size and power but I don't think he ever had the ability to achieve more than he actually did.

How is this even a question when we have video footage. It was a mismatch. Price obliterated him in 80 seconds!

Audley was not a real fighting man. He was terrified to get hit.

    You're showing a shot 41-year-old against a 29-year-old in his prime.

If a 41-year-old David Price got in the ring today with undefeated 29-year-old Moses Jolly ... and Jolly knocked Price out in 80 seconds ... are you back on here insisting Jolly was better than Price ever was?

Do you have Trevor Berbick beating a prime Ali too because there's video of him beating the old man?

Are you guys just copying and pasting the same quotes?

It's rare to see so many people "regurgitate the same nonsense word for word" based on nothing but films of a 40-year-old losing a fight.

So many British fans are so absolutely brainwashed on Harrison that they use the exact same terms. Garbage in, garbage out as they say.

Price really couldn't box, he had power and that was it. I think Harrison had more talent but Price would likely KO him prime for prime.

    Double Glass Chin,
 why are you posting amateur videos? Amateur boxing is closer to fencing than actual boxing.
I watched Audley as a pro he was a timid scared Glass Jawed Fraud. Nothing else needs to be said.

Audley was the more talented of the two. But he wasted it. Pretty much ran his own training camps and didnt put the necessary work in to fight at professional level. Think david haye talked about audleys training camps.

No intensity and no real thought behind them etc. He was pretty much his own boss from the start and he was lazy. Never really a good combination.

Could have been a different story but if your not training at the required level....your talent wont get you very far.

Looking back over price,s early career when he was firing....on second watch their is actually quite a few times he showed a real lack of confidence/stamina etc. He had more power than audley but that was about it. He was better because he had a better work ethic. But in terms of talent....audley was the more talented of the two.

Just didnt get him any further because he didnt train at the required level.

Thats the real reason audley was timid for a lot of his career. When fight night came along he was never really properly fight ready for it because the camps and his intensity in them camps we,re so bad.

Audley was robbed! Early stoppage. He could have gone on, the next day, maybe.
