    Against Calzaghe ?

Hopkins was an embarrasment in the Calzaghe fight. Were you proud of the way he faked injury so often you could run adverts during a round and still not miss any action. If he had not acted such a ***** he would have got stopped not a ko but a ca cardiac arrest. I am constantly amazed at how you yanks overlook the way he bitched rolled and wimped out against Joe. He lost because he ****in deserved to lose.

Answer this guys seriously, he was great against Pavlik. He is an undoubted all time great in any division. He was past his best against JC, as was JC against him. But on that night his antics were a disgrace, he was an embarassment or does anyone disagree ?

I was very proud of Hopkins, in fact, i was downright stunned he won in the manner he did! he just keeps amazing me.

I'll be happy if i have a fraction of his athleticism at his age

Proud of him , you can respect his athleticism , but only a fool or a liar would say they are proud of his antics in the ring

I expected Hopkins to be beaten easily against Calzaghe. At the end of the 12th I couldn't believe what he'd just done. I had him winning, as did many others. I knew the judges wouldn't give him the win but at the same time I was very proud of what he'd done.

Ok i understand now, in American boxing its ok to feign injury over and over and over again to get a breather

Look, im getting tired of the feigned injury stuff. The last low blow, Cortex didn't see it, so he couldn't award recovery time. both other times, JC landed low (regardless of the force). Joe Calzaghe was far dirtier than Bernard Hopkins. Joe hit behind the head a **** load of times, he hit Bernard Low, he held and hit, backhanded his jab a bit, and used his head and shoulder every bit as much as Bernard. Joe and Bernard did they what he had to in order to win the fight. Joe was just the better man that night.

Whats the point its a genuine question, i find it interesting that American fans tolerate drug cheating , feigning injury etc etc when their guys do it. Its odd to me, winning if you cheat is not winning. So why condone it, there is no achievement. It explains why JC does not want to give a rematch to Hopkins though, so don't complain when he does not. Why risk your record going out the window to a faker

Insignia if you avoid the question or just try and laugh at it to avoid answering it that does not equal a debate. I appreciate i have asked a couple of awkward questions for you Americans to answer, but hey if you constantly denigrate other countries fighters you should expect a retort. But we understand, your guys are pussies afraid to fight without every advantage, site, referee, judges and date. Even then you want a headstart and rule changes to suit your guy.

I had predicted a 6 round KO for Hopkins in the Pavlik fight. Yes, Hopkins looked better in this fight than against Calzaghe, but therein lies the difference between Joe and Kelly.
