    In the first fight Hearns had Leanords face swole up like a basketball, and he had eye problems ever since. In the second fight Hearns put him down twice i believe....

    Exactly in which round of which fight did Duran have Leanord in anywhere near that kind of trouble?

    Hearns just couldn't take Leonard's punches very well.

    He wobbled Leonard badly with a left in the first few rounds.
    Leonard got away with holding on for grim life for the rest of the round or he would have been knocked out. Cheers.

    Hearns was so much tougher than anyone he fought that he waited 8 years to get whooped again only to receive such a farce of a draw, he has on many occasions stated he did not deserve a draw.

    He adjusted with Duran in the 2nd fight & decided to box and move. A lot. No adjustment with Hearns. Just a gift draw from the judges.

    I would say Duran, he had Ray shook in a way no other fighter had. You can tell by the response Ray had after the Brawl in Montreal.

    This. Duran kicked his ass in that first fight, but the cool thing is how Leonard totally turned the tables on him and made him quit.

    Hearns was a great fighter, but he was not Duran.
