Bad toe or not Wlad would've won, Haye is very limited, in fact he did the same thing against an old Valuev, Haye was inside plenty of times and didn't do ****. I was surprised by how bad both men were. With Decent power, shaky chins and bad blood, someone should've got KTFO or atleast tasted some hard leather.

 

He was selling the fight, as he was being paid to do. You and I might not enjoy the way he goes about doing it (his approach to promotion is a bit too pro-wrestling for my tastes), but people soon forget about it when other boxers act in a similar fashion to promote a fight. If he acted like that all the time, I'd agree with you, but he doesn't.

Yes I have the same line with you. Haye was better than I expected. Helenius, reportedly sparring evenly with Haye

 

its clear from that video Wlad was scared of Hayes punch - even when Wlad went on the offensive and Haye countered back Wlad quickly retreated. If only Haye had been more aggressive he would have beaten Wlad. He was far too concerned about his stamina.

Oh and look at the dirty cheating Wlad from 0.55 holding and pushing Haye down

I agree. He was good in being evasive and taking a shot but as someone else mentioned that doesn't mean **** if you do nothing else.

One good thing is that if the rematch happens, I think Haye will be a lot more aggressive. He was been vilified in the mainstream press over here. The British media does not want defensive slicksters with low punch outputs (like Dirrell). They want a trier like Hatton or Bruno, even if they lose. So he knows he's lost a lot of respect and he will want to put it right.
