I basically look at many of the elite fighters in the last two decades

Shane, Tito, Oscar, Roy, Floyd, Bhop and look at basically have narrowed it down between Tito Trinidad and Shane mosley being the two best finishers out of the elite group. This is also evidence by their highest KO ratio.

I think consenus is that Tito was the naturally bigger puncher, and his fights ended with probably quicker more devastating KO's than shane.

Shane is a hard puncher, not as hard as tito, but probably relied more on attrition when compared to TIto. He had to use "powerboxing" and mix up with body head attack which also takes a certain type of skill.

I think most people will agree that both men, when having their opponents hurt were like sharks in the water. Who do u rank as the greater finisher.

If anyone feels that i have missed a fighter please suggest.

    Tito definately.
I think DLH was a better finisher than Mosley though.

The Klitschko's have finished well. They stay composed when their opponents are hurt...similar to another great finishing heavyweight over 50 years ago...this American brown bombing something or another guy.

No answer simply because you somehow managed to misspell "the".

Tito had more punching power, but he did occasionally let guys off the hook looking for the perfect punch. Not often, but it did sometimes happen. (Vargas and Joppy should have probably been put away sooner, for example. Especially Vargas, who had no business still being on his feet at the end of the 1st round).

Shane on the other hand, is relentless when an opponent is in trouble. He probably possesses the best killer instinct I've seen in a long time. I don't think I've ever seen a case where Shane had someone on the hook and let them slip away. (Then again, I haven't seen all of Shane's lightweight career, and he wasn't always as effective then due to weightdraining).

Shane laboured to put away guys at lightweight sometimes...Even when it was clear he was much better and bigger then them from the very first round.

Both have examples where they were great finishers and others where they werent so good in this regard...Id still give the edge to Tito.
