How many times has he faced an operator as skilled as Nelson?

I don't rate Mormeck at all. Nelson seemed very hard to beat when he was motivated.

Thompson stopped Haye, Nelson stopped Thompson. Thats all you need to know.

Not sure about Mormeck (only seen his two fights with Bell and the one with Haye) but I definitely don't rate Enzo very highly.

I'd give a prime Nelson a great shot to beat Haye.

    1) Just because he never chased the other champions does not mean he was not good enough.

    2) Haye did beat THE MAN - (for what its worth)

    3) Who cares about my spelling - I know I'm a sloppy speller - give me
break - I'm not in school anymore teacher.

    4) Diverse meaning - seen more - fought more - experienced more -
just generally been through more - fought in America - etc,

Don't forget the fact that Nelson was a SN fighter during his WBO days - Frank doesn't do unification unless backed into a very tight corner

There is no way I see Nelson with all his experience and style and defensive capability getting blown away like Enzo was.

Nelson was much better than Enzo.

Nelson had evasive skills and a good chin - Enzo has neither

To be honest, the only thing Enzo has on Nelson is probably power

Enzo has no defence in the Haye fight - he was way too open at the end stuck in the corner

Nelson is far more accomplished defense wise

It would probably be a dud fight in my opinion, Nelson whilst a more complete fighter (i believe), always was negative against fighters with power and most of the fighters were not in the class of Haye.

Did Haye really say he was the greatest Cruiser ever?

If he did he really needs a reality check:lol: beating two poor champions does not a great make.

He is starting to believe his own hype

He is not the first or the last human being who's ego swells with success

His reality check will come ok - up at heavyweight

The question was Flint - did he actually say it?

He probably did say it. I'm sure I could find some quotes to prove it if need be.
