    Agree with that!! In this forum anyway, the two most disrespected and underrated fighters ever have been Tunney and Monzon.

    Tough night? Spinks stopped Cooney and wa far more powerful than Canelo, look at the hooks Plant was taking flush until Canelo put everything into the finishing shot, a 199lbs Spinks would flatten Plant with the first hard shot he hit him with.

    Head to head? No way could Nunn beat cruiserweights or small heavyweights, Nunn only weighed 160 when he beat Tate plus Toney knocked him out what would a cruiser or small heavy like Marciano have done to him?

    For their weights yes. Who did they beat to win the title, that is the question and the answer is tiny Burns, old Willard, Shot Dempsey inactive and journeyman Braddock, old Walcott, the same Walcott who had a journeyman record, and some WBA champion? Not the best to win tie title from is my point.

    'Who they beat to win the title' may be the worst criteria I've seen on this forum to judge a fighter. There's been stiff competition, so congratulations.

    The only purpose it serves is to ignore a fighters overall body of work, either because of ignorance or an agenda. It fails to distinguish between those whose title win is out of their resume, and those who have q dozen better win.

    By this ridiculous criteria, Randy Turpin is a far greater Middleweight than Harry Greb.

    The question is best under 200 H2H so I don't understand your point .. same logic you used can say Tunney beat an older, highly inactive Dempsey that had two fights in five years ..
