Willie Pep was great the father of scientific boxing but you don’t think Saddler had his number.

Yes great pity. I think he may have been better than Julio Cesar Chavez. Also we got robbed off a great rematch between him and my Uncle Azumah Nelson when he was properly ready instead of being an inexperienced late substitute when they fought.

You can put Jeff Fenech in that mix as well.

Zuma is underrated, idk why people don’t recognize his talent. He gave Sanchez hell.

Based on fights contested at FW only (allowing up to 130lbs for slightly over the weight non title fights), e.g. Armstrong gets no credit for his LW fights or amazing WW reign, and based on achievements in their era, not predicted H2H

    1. Willie Pep
    2. Sandy Sadler
    3. Vicente Saldivar
    4. Abe Atell
    5. Salvador Sanchez
    6. George Dixon
    7. Eusebio Pedroza
    8. Johnny Kilbane
    9. Alexis Arguello
    10. Henry Armstrong

Willy Pep was the greatest, but I do think Sanchez was the best relative to his time. If he would have gotten to live like other boxers did, I'm sure he'd be the greatest. Or, at least, I'm 90% confident.
