In order from best to worst, a list of the guys who beat Tyson.

    BUT

This list is based on the fighters in their prime; absolute peek - down to their best fight night.

    1.) Holyfield
    2.) Lewis
    3.) Douglas
    4.) Williams
    5.) McBride

Agreed, but I'd swap Lewis and Holyfield. At heavyweight at least.

It can be argued that Douglas, on that night in Japan, could have beaten anyone on the list. I think he would have had the toughest time with Lewis but fighting the inspired way that he did I think he could have pulled it off against any one of them. The best boxer from an overall career perspective to have beaten Tyson is recent hall of fame inductee Lennox Lewis.

Agreed. Overall he was a lot worse than Lewis and Holy but for just that one night everything came together perfectly for him.

    Holyfield
    Lewis
    Douglas
    Williams

The only great fighter on the list is Holyfield. Lewis and Douglas were good but they were too big and fat to really be considered great. It took Lennox 7 rounds to stop a completely shot version of Mike Tyson. Just imagine what a young, Rooney-trained Tyson would have done to any of these guys.

Lewis was in sadistic mood Vs Tyson, he let the wordplay get to him and put a pretty brutal beating on Mike. He could have probably finished it a lot earlier if he had wanted.

You ****ing douche. Lewis is one of the greatest heavyweights ever. A better heavy than Holyfield.

Easier list to order, and nobody should disagree with it:

    Lennox Lewis
    Evan Fields
    James 'Buster' Douglas
    Danny Williams
    Kevin McBride

I agree with that. I would have to watch it again but from what I recall he toyed with him...dragged the punishment out for the world to see.

Kinda like Calzaghe did to Jones. I thought he could have sealed the deal earlier but was enjoying the punishment he put on him so much, he dragged the fight out.
