I think Holyfield was the best overall, he fought the better competition and beat a younger and more better Mike Tyson. He was way past his prime when he fought Lewis imo
Based strictly on 1990-1999 I’d say Holyfield. Lewis edges him overall though I think. His 2000 campaign was impressive and leaving with a Vitali win (though not overly satisfying) aged fairly well.
Riddick 'Big Daddy' Bowe. Should be 3-0 vs Holyfield. KO'd Bruce Seldon in 1 round. KO'd Herbie Hide, whipped Lawrence Donald, beat Golota 2x. Retired due to lack of challenges.
Don't forget his NC with Buster Mathis II Mathis was faking it totally and it's as good as a win in my eyes against an awesome Super heavyweight for Big Daddy.
The best heavyweight of the 90s probably was a guy in the amateurs from the Soviet Union who couldn't turn pro
Seriously? He shamelessly ducked Lewis, so he shirked that challenge. He got fat and lazy is what happened and ate away his prime. He's a distant third behind Holyfield and Lewis.
