Probably the guy who proved himself better in actual match-ups than the other 2.

There are other factors that could give it to Morales, he did after all do better against Pacquiao and Jones than Barrera, but they fought each other 3 times, and Barrera came out the better fighter. That is more important for the comparison than how each did against the same opponents IMO.

I also highly doubt that any version of Naz beats the best of Barrera considering how their actual fight went.

    MAB gets my vote.

More people talking about absolutely nothing they know about.

    - Pre Morales I, Barrera was not in his prime. He was one-dimensional and reckless. -Jones I and 2.
    - He beat Morales in their first fight, most agree with this notion.

Barrera lost once, truely, in his prime, and that was against Pacquiao. I personally believe he had an off night. He dealt better with Pacquiao in their rematch, and he was far removed from his prime by that time. Manny was also supposedly improved.

The disrespect for true fighters in this forum is disgusting. Lame ass cab drivers sitting on their asses infront of a computer disrespecting people who have achieved 5 times as much as they ever will. Idiots.

Sure buddy that guy in your avatar may be a good fighter but he's still a douchebag and a dirty fighter. He's a crybaby too, a sore loser.

He came back better and defied all the critics huh? Just like he came back to avenge his loss to Junior Jones and Pacquiao right? you're the dumb **** who can't even see the truth.

Morales did act as his older brother by avenging his humiliating loss to Jones and Pacquiao. :hi:

depends what you think their primes were. boxers change style, for a start. I'd pick the old Tsyzu over the young Tszyu, but I think the older one was, for example, more likely to lose to Hatton and more likely to beat Judah.

the most sublime of the three at his very, very best, i believe was Hamed. however, Barrera, as well as dismantling Hamed, and Morales had by far the greater achievements. Certainly, if you ever wanted a flat track bully (elite level ordinary boxers, as opposed to proper ordinary boxers) I'd send in hamed. If you wanted someone to win against all odds, the other two have the more proven records.

this thread can only end with a vote for Barrera or Morales, as most hamed's fans gut feelings about him were never quite proven.

Look at when Junior Jones smashed down Barrera at the end of the fight Barreras corner men run in the ring and one of them aggresively throws the contents of a bottle of water at Junior Juniors

    Terrible losers

Junior Jones was too caught up in the moment and elated to even notice but if he had I think it would of been ok of him to go up to the cornerman and punch him in the face

    Agreed :good

Im gonna predict that Barrera will edge this vote with Morales 2nd as opinions are 50/50 as to who solid fans regard as greater but the fans that only viewed them casually are likely to vote MAB because of the 2-1 bull****.

    Definitely.

Morales never lost clearly until the Raheem fight were he was WITHOUT QUESTION in decline as a fighter....

Barrera lost twice to junior Jones & was dismantled by Pacquiao, lost a close fight vs Morales himself in a fight that could have gone either way + was given a huge gift in the 2nd EM fight which a blind man could see Morales won.

Nobody EVER had an easy night vs prime Morales - even when he was slightly below par he still made it life & death with them - but you cant say the same about Barrera as he lost very decisively to Pac & Jones long before his declining yrs.

Naz is 3rd... thats all thats required on that subject.

    1. Morales would have beat Naz too, anyone knows this.
    2. The closest any of their fights came to being a domination was the 2nd fight in Morales favour, the other ones were even fights.
    3. Morales obviously had the better prime, he was never clearly beaten by anyone & arguably never lost at all until the Raheem fight.
    4. See my above posts for more Morales/Barrera facts.

Yea no kidding bruh. I'm only referring to them as brothers because they're two of Mexico's finest and Morales is superior.. Morales is the big bad brother who had to watch over his little incompetent sibling. Morales was always the one who had to restore Mexico's pride.

After Chavez and Sanchez, it's Morales.. Barrera can follow morales' footsteps. And after all said and done, Marquez will be above Barrera too.
