well.....there are good reasons to pick MAB, and reasons to pick Morales, so i cant really say for 100% certainty but, i know 1 thing it damn sure aint Hamed....

Just like Foreman would destroy Ali because he beat Frazier & Norton much more impressively & exceptionally than Ali did.

    :nut

Boxing doesnt & never has woked like.

Morales is all wrong for Naz, solid chin, greater technique, huge heart, very versatile.

That is Naseem Hameds worst nightmare.. at least it was believed he had a punchers chance even late on vs MAB due to the Jones fight - they were wrong but they did believe it & Naz still lost even with that hope - vs Morales, there would be no hope.

barrera proved to be in a different class than hamed

if naz woulda stepped up & fought morales after the mcculough fight he woulda got ****ed up big time.

MAB for me, though both EM and MAB were batter than naz.

Barrera was at his peak at featherweight and so was Morales and for me BArrera was the more complete boxer with the better featherweight resume.

Even when they fought a 3rd time when both were past their peak Barrera showed he was the better technician. Mighty close though, great rivalry.

For me its Naz, he was something special in his prime, leaving ingle unfortunatley put an end to that, Ingle was a father figure who kept him grounded, but once he left him his ego took over and Manny Steward and Suarez both taking it in turns training him and trying to change Naz's style effectivley ruined Naz.

Barrera was peak at FWT, Morales was peak at SBWT.

Morales clearly beat the peak FWT Barrera, the other fights at SBWT & SFWT were even fights & they recieved 1 each so that evens out IMO but the only clear win by either man went to the wrong man.

Throw in the Pac & jones wins + the entertainment value of Morales & you get.......

    Morales > Barrera

    IMO

    :good

Morales edges Barrera by virtue of EM's wins over jones and pacman of whom MAB lost to and wasn't able to avenge..

Hamed though exciting and a good fighter at that, is nowhere near the elite level that both EM and MAB where at.

With all due respect to what the prince has accomplished, i still think he fell short of reaching his maximum potential to be able to truly compete at the most elite level because his cockiness, flamboyance, ring antiques, lack of concentration during training and over-confidence got the best of him .. Notwithstanding the lack of heart to bounce back from a setback contributed significantly to his early retirement..

Barrera I dont give a **** about Morales beat Junior Jones and Pacquiao. Barrera won 2-3 and IMO 3-3 over Morales.

The 1995/6 version of Naz was unbeatable.

IMO, Barrera won the 1st fight but lost the 2nd one and the 3rd fight could've gone either way..

But that's just me and I can live with the argument of MAB edging out Morales by virtue of the results of their own trilogy..

But still, for me, EM edges MAB based on merits...
