I'm going to use my own opinions and Ring Magazines rankings to try and get a factual answer (although I don't have much hope for that), using Rummy's equation (top spot gets ten, each person on the list gets one point less until we get to the tenth name, who gets one)

    For me it goes

    1. Ezzard Charles
    2. Archie Moore
    3. Billy Conn
    4. Jimmy Bivins
    5. Lloyd Marshall
    6. Joey Maxim
    7. Gus Lesnivich
    8. Leonard Morrow
    9. Jack Johnson
    10. Alabama Kid

    Rummy's List (or Rings)

    1. Gus Lesnivich (85 points)
    2. Freddie Mills (45 points)
    3. Archie Moore (39 points)
    4. Lloyd Marshall (37 points)
    5. Ezzard Charles (24 points)
    6. Alabama Kid (17 points)
    7. Jimmy Bivins (16 points)
    7. Billy Fox (16 points)
    9. Leonard Morrow (14 points)
    10. Nate Boldin (13 points)

    But what's yours?
