Yes, Rise. These are the answers. Most dominant champs at a given weight, aside from the lightest weights are going to have guys moving up to face them and often enough they're the biggest names on their resume. Marciano's Moore, for instance? Come on. This is the rule, not the exception. I mean-How can you even-...rrrrrah! :pc

I wasnt belittling Hagler at all and opinions will always differ. I was just curious to see what people thought of having Hagler ranked above Greb or Monzon and whether or not it was a fair call. I'm actually a huge fan of the marvellous one.

Also I see that most people actually have Hagler behind both those guys. So its just a minority who believe otherwise.

if Muhammad Ali's best career wins was against light-heavyweights we would all be questioning his ranking yet so many rank Hagler as a Top 1 or 2 middleweight of all time. same goes for Monzon.. their resumes are **** poor compared to Robinson, Greb, Fulmer, Zale, Steele, Walker and many more.

If Alis best wins were against light heavys I'd question whether or not he was the best Heavyweight ever, most definitely.

And yet Jack Dempseys best wins are against light heavies and you see fit to rank him #2 all time. Lol, talk about your double standards!

if Haglers best middleweight wins are as stated in this thread Minter, Antuofermo, Hamsho & Roldan i find it very difficult to understand how he can be rated higher than say Joey Giardello who had wins over Ray Robinson, Dick Tiger, Billy Graham, Joey Giambra, Ruben Carter, Harold Green, Gil Turner, Pierre Langlois, Henry Hank, Holly Mims, Randy Sandy, Walt Cartier, Garth Panter, Willie Troy, Rory Calhoun, Chico Vejar, Del Flanagan, Ralph "Tiger" Jones and Ernie Durando :huh

Here you go again with your Tolling and Hating.. it is now common knowledge on the forum that you hate Jack Dempsey along with most other fighters pre-1999 and you continue to make idiotic comments like the one above claiming Dempsey's best career wins was against Light-Heavyweights :huh... check out his wins over Firpo, Fulton, Sharkey, Willard, Brennan, Morris, Miske.. i enjoy educating you

Who cares about the losses, Bodhi? We're talking about wins over THE UNBEATABLE HURRICANE CARTER (Rubin "Hurricane", not Jimmy "Hurricane") and PRIME RAY ROBINSON! :deal

    :rofl

We've already discussed this and you were run out of the thread, remember? And unlike you I don't hate on fighters. When it comes to judging them I am just like Joe Cortez...firm but fair!

Hagler fought much better middleweights than Ketchel, Robinson or Monzon, no question ... from his Phili days to his championship reign Hagler fought a lot of very good and tough fighters ... hard core guys who came up the hard way and were as mean as he was .. I can't say he fought better men as a whole than Greb but then again who did ?
