Who was the better "Fighter of the Decade": Manny Pacquiao(00s) or Roy Jones(90s)?

he's definitely one of the least respected posters in esb history, incredibly bias, and often lowers the tone of threads through sheer ignorance in combination with a complete lack of boxing knowledge :deal

I voted for Jones because he was untouchable. Pac may have better wins (in a p4p sense), but he also lost several bouts.

In fact, a critic could say Pac only beat Barrera/Morales when they were past their best, but lost to them at their peak.

Jones didn't even come close to losing. He completely wiped the floor with the p4p #1 in Toney and beat Hopkins comfortably.

 

Jones had the better natural talent but Pacman has the better achievements and fought all-comers, so I give it to Pac. Ultimately it's what you achieve that matters, not what you coulda, woulda, shoulda done.

I can't really take you seriously after that comment prior on toney. Pacs best wins are not that good, to attempt to make it seem like it was light years away from the quality guys Jones faced is asinine and this is just another example of the overrating that Pac has due to his fans.

Hill was not garbage, Hopkin not garbage, Montel was not garbage, Toney was not garbage, Reggie Johnson was not garbage, and it goes on and on. The only reason why Pac became fighter of the decade is because Mayweather retired for a short stint, Pac became it by default.

Both RJJ and Pac are overrated, but pac is more overrated than any fighter in the recent years.
