    I totally agree with you.

    Mexico has had many great fighters and Chavez is not even considered the best by some Mexican fans. No other Filipino fighter has come close to the stature of Manny Pacquiao and that is why he is admire the way he is in the Philippines. After Pacquiao, the talent pool of the Philippines drops off a lot. Yes, there are a few exceptions but not too many.

    Is there really any question? Pacquiao may trump anybody that ever lived in this category, not just athletes. His entire country is on hold when he fights.

    Not sure if it speaks volumes about Pacquiao, or speaks of how pathetic the Philipines are talent wise. :think

    Philippines is a much poorer country than Mexico. They don't have a border with the US to support them.

    Me being Mexican I'll tell you that Pac hands down. Unfortunately our m,ediocre and crap football has more attention than anything else and JCC was not even the most known athlete, unfortuantely (because JCC had more merit) it was football player Hugo Sánche so well, there is no way to compete...
