Norris constant calling out of much smaller fighters was tiresome as well.

Can't blame him, the guys above him would have smashed him like a bad piece from Pottery Barn or a slut on pint night.

pfff, whatever. the way he smashed the much larger meldrick taylor was brilliant. same with simon brown. he'd have destroyed marvin hagler if he had come around a few years earlier

he spent a career cleaning out the mid-late 80s heavyweights, beating up spinks and holmes, and fighting holyfield, golota, and lewis but somehow ducked "Prime" Orlin Norrris:blood

If your read my thread properly (Which you obviously didnt)
I stated which ATG ducked the rest (see list on first page)

    SPinks
    Holmes
    Tyson
    Holyfield
    Bowe
    Foreman
    Lewis

Out of those ATGs, Tyson fought Spinks, Holmes, Holyfield and Lewis.
Tyson and Bowe refused to fight each other, and Foreman wanted more $ than he was worth.
so how the **** is Tyson a duck?

of this list? Spinks a little for obvious reasons. Bowe ducked good fighters and Foreman avoided guys like Lewis and Bowe and Holmes.

Lewis's resume stacks up well with anyone so I don't see how he can be called a ducker.

Bowe didn't fight Lewis,Tyson,Mercer,McCall,Moorer,Morrison,Foreman,Bruno Witherspoon or just about any other legit heavyweight who could punch in the 1990's.

His resume has more holes than his defense so he has to be a decent shout.

Spinks didn't want to be involved in the unification tournament and was stripped of the IBF title. Tucker won the vacant IBF title by beating Douglas (KO10). Spinks did go on to face the tournament winner though, LKOby1 Tyson.

Holyfield was the #1 contender for 19 1/2 months before getting a title shot. I'm not saying Tyson was ducking him... but as soon as Tyson lost to Douglas, Douglas was ready to face the #1 challenger.

    Bowe ducked Lewis for sure.

You could say that Foreman ducked Tucker and Schulz (rematch) but I think it was more of a business decision than fear... risk vs. reward. A duck none the less though.

You could even say that Lewis ducked Ruiz... :nut but I think we all know how that one was going to go. He did retire instead of fight V. Klitschko again though. You could also say that he avoided W. Klitschko I suppose.

I've heard people say that Holmes ducked the likes of Page, Tubbs, and Thomas. I've even heard that he avoided a rematches with Witherspoon. He took a high profile fight vs. Marvis Frazier instead of fighting his #1 contender and was stripped of the WBC belt. Witherspoon won the vacant title by beating Page... Holmes had already beat Witherspoon in a close fight. You be the judge. I think it was more of a Don King thing than Holmes in deciding who he was going to fight. We all know that King and Witherspoon had issues with each other.

So, who ducked the most ATGs?

Well Bowe ducked Lewis... but I actuallythink at that point Bowe would have won.

A case can be made that Tyson ducked Holyfield until he felt Holyfield was washed up... they were scheduled to fight when Holyfield was champ but Tyson had to pull out a few times for different reasons (injuries, **** charges, maybe he was scared?, etc.).

    At their best...

    Holmes didn't duck any ATGs.

    Holyfield didn't duck any ATGs.

    Foreman didn't duck any ATGs.

    Lewis didn't duck any ATGs.
