Here "retire" simply means being the last to face someone - regardless of the result.
(World champ: Someone who can be found on at least one of BoxRec's lists of champions)

Bonus question: Who was the first to retire three world champions?

I know that Hector Camacho took the crowns from two of the Four Kings but I don't know if he was the first. Both Ray Leonard and Roberto Duran said "no mas" after fighting Camacho.

Has to be Marciano. He did the deed to Walcott and Louis.

Sorry, but two differen Tommy Ryans are at play here! The one who retired Nonpareil Jack, was the ATG world champ - while the one who retired McAuliffe was "Philadelphia" Tommy Ryan, a journeyman with a losing record.

Edit: I see BPV beat me to it.
