What a piece of work you are, twisting a remark and making cheap gain from a man's death , pot/ kettle doesn't begin to describe you .I will say this you have surprised me, I did not think you were that low a human being as to accuse me of your own lack of taste.

Have you done the same with Foreman?
I think boxrec lists 26 for big George, as actual KOs.

Not as low as posting a "laughing emoticon" at the fact a man would be dead from boxing related injuries after two more fights.

I think he has 26, including both his careers.

    Yes, that is correct.

Still, the whole point stands that McVey was just trying to downgrage Moore's number and not realizing the can of worms he opened for resumes of other punchers.

Well your boy shouldn't be accusing posters of exploiting a man's death, when he was laughing about it just pages into this thread. And than describing it as a "funny KO"

It seemed that way to me too.
It's interesting to check the statistics though. Tyson is listed on boxrec with only 13, out of 58 fights, though I think he's been cheated out of a few there (Holmes, Berbick, Thomas?, Tubbs).

Exactly, it all depends on the ref.

Still there is bound to be some evening out, interesting that Moore, Tyson, and Foreman are roughly at pace with each other.

How many fights did Moore have to Foreman's 81? You don't think that is a factor .And you only used the fights where Moore's opponents weighed over 180lbs Was it you or Choklab of Morbid who argued a while ago ,anyone over 175lbs is a heavyweight?

It's hard to tell you three apart.:huh

I got in on the record by mentioning it in a post . I don't need lessons from you, for the record, and in all honesty I think you were pretty despicable in your post and I am surprised by both you and Mongoose.

Bummy and Mendoza,I wouldnt be surprised by ,as they implied am a racist. But it's good to know you're all in the same sewer.

He had 77 fights against HWs, you can't count the rest. Moore can't very well knockout a HW if his opponent is a middleweight.

I've explained why I used 180 lbs this time around, it was an attempt at avoiding that argument again.

Being thick you missed the point of the thread entirely.I explained it on another post when I thought there might still be some common ground for discussion, agreement not being necessary, but you stooped to the sewer. This thread has done well with responses from both sides, I think McGrain has been the standout poster but some decent back and forth from both sides , you just **** on it. No matter,Ive learned a bit about you and Mr Morbid. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Surely if Moore fought 77 heavyweights, he fought 77 heavyweights.

Since it's been pointed out that the bulk of his record-setting stoppage number (is it 145? 131? ) came against non-heavyweights, they've be disqualified for this discussion on heavyweight punching.

If those stats are correct. 53 stoppages in 77 HW fights, with 20 clean KOs, that's pretty respectable numbers, from what I can tell.
