    I don’t know that the Classic forum is the place to ask for the most recent person to do something that’s happened lots of times.

    I guess Muhammad Ali wasn’t The Man at the time, but Ken Norton beat him in his first 12-rounder.

    Understood, mods can move to the other boxing section if they deem it appropriate. I posted it here under the assumption that it hasn't happened many times, at least not in recent decades.
