Except for Czyz, all of Stewart's losses up to the Moorer fight were in title fights. Who has Kovalev beaten that has a victory over an opponent equivalent to Marvin Johnson and held the WBA belt?

He doesn't realise guys like Swindell and Stewart were well regarded and staples on USA Tuesday night fights and ESPN Thursday night fights before the rise of Showtime and Before HBO became what it is today in boxing. Doesn't matter, it wouldn't change his agenda.

You are right, he isn't here to debate, he's here to agitate.

Kovalev's KO % isn't as high, but it's of a decidedly higher caliber opponent. I'd give him the edge.

Swindell being a Tuesday Night fighter and having exposure doesn't make him any better than what he was, which was a fringe contender. Nothing wrong with that level, but it's laughable to see people say he's better than anyone Kovalev's knocked out.

Who do you think would win between Moorer and Kovalev at 175?

The same level of TOMATO CANs that Kovalev has feasted on. The difference is Moorer was far more dominant...

I don't recall DM, Maske or Kovalev ever winning the linear HW title...

You mean the same Marvin Johnson who fought a who's who of light heavies in the toughest era of that division? Lol, brilliant argument!

I really do hope you're joking.

Moorer's fights at 175 were a ****ing joke, absolute bum central.

    :good
But he that was also a time when Orlin Norris was the only decent CW fighting regularly at the weight.

Yeah, Moorer woulda dominated Norris, likely stopped him, but what kind of legacy could he have made for himself at the weight.....

except maybe being the man who beat JLOT, Jirov, and Haye?????

Hell, Moorer might still been a top 10 CW into the mid 2000s if he'd remained. Likely had 60-70 fights and been a surefire top 5 ATG CW.:think

I have to give you credit. At least you are consistent.
