    Exactly. Which is why....

    Moorer >>>>> DM, Maske, Kovalev

Moorer was more impressive and looked better @ 175 than Kovalev. The TOMATO CAN Krusher looked like absolute **** last Saturday and let a NO NAME fighter score a body shot knock down against him.

Where did I give Moorer credit for beating Johnson? I give Stewart that credit and Moorer beat him. Your attempt to discredit fighters in defence of your heroes is comical, especially after I already stated Kov has fought slightly better comp. You have absolutely no clue what you're talking about because you've never seen the fighters you're discrediting, only read about them on boxrec. Tsk, tsk, tsk! :nono

Actually Moorer proved he could go to heavyweight and be successful. Let us know when Kovalev does that. Moorers chin was just fine at 175.

The thread topic is who was more destructive. That Moorer was able to be a successful heavyweight certainly lends credence to the idea of him being more destructive, just as it would if Sergay moves up.

Where am I comparing his heavyweight career? You said he had a glass jaw. That he never lost at 175 and THEN was able to successfully move to heavy just proves you're wrong again.

    Yes, he was.

Like G-Man, another Kronk fighter, at 160.

Marvin Johnson was very past his prime by then.

It shows Johnson's quality to win a title and beat a good, undefeated fighter in Stewart in 1986, but Johnson was certainly not the same guy who had those wars with Saad and Galindez.

Johnson was unfortunate to have been in one of the best LHW eras ever.

Moorer had more impressive highlights but Kov gets the edge because he has fought the better opponents. Cleverly was a pretty good win.

Exactly. I never missed an episode of Tuesday Night Fights but they specialized in gate keepers, fringe contenders, and up and comers.

Exactly HOW many times did Moorer's "glass jaw" get shattered @ LHW?

While I pretty much agree with this there were also plenty of contenders featured and world champions. In the late 80's, early 90's many top light heavyweights were often featured on USA or ESPN such as Virgil Hill, Dennis Andries, Jeff Harding and a host of others.

Moore would have KO'd your hero. who was knocked out with head gear on. unlike your hero, Moore went all the way up to heavyweight to challege bigger men. Dude your hero worship of these Eastern Europeans is not based on merit. They are yet to prove themselves. You like to belittle who have actually proven themselves in order to big up your guys. Get a drink and sit down.
