I'm sorry but arguing about who crushed the better string of TOMATO CANs is a waste of time. Moorer beat up on TOMATO CANs @ 175. So has Kovalev. The difference is Moorer went up to heavyweight and beat some good names there.

Call me when the "Krusher" is done Krushing TOMATO CANs.

Whole thread's utterly pointless IMO. I sadly have to get by with Boxrec myself (I'm old enough, but Moorers LHW career simply wasn't the kinda stuff that made it as far as UK terrestrial TV) - Moorers 100% stoppage at LHW is obviously the more impressive, but without an understanding of his opponents, I can't really contribute.

What I'm more bothered by is your continued and repetitive use of the term 'tomato cans' when talking about Kovalevs opponents. I get that you're trying to have a little dig at Kovalev fans, but for me it mainly signifies a disrespect for the fighters...which of Kovalevs opponents from last year do you genuinely think were just put there to make him look good (especially given that until to the Campillo fight he was a nobody with no promoter)?

Maybe I've misunderstood though...perhaps you're just saying that Campillo, White, Cleverly and Sillakh were just rubbish rather than they were chosen to make Kovalev look good?

 

And if I may add, Moorer would have *destroyed* Kovalev...

Heavyweight accomplishments mean absolutely nothing as it relates to 175, just like Pac flattening Hatton didn't make him a more destructive flyweight.

It's Moorer Jab. He ko'd everyone he fought at 175 I believe. I love Kovalev's potential, but his comp is lacking AT THE MOMENT.
