Who was the more stylistic poison for Ali? Ken Norton or Joe Frazier.

    This is probably the correct answer. Norton was a hell of strange, but effective boxer. Frazier was straightforward but brutal.

    If you had a long series of fights between Ali and the other two, I think it more likely that he eventually solves Frazier's style than Norton's.

    Ranking Muhammad's form throughout what would count as six bouts in trilogies with both men,I will lay out a chart here. Best coming first -

    1/ Second fights with both men. Can't split them.
    2/ First Frazier fight.
    3/ Third Frazier fight.
    4/ First Norton fight.
    5/ Third Norton fight.

    Both men would - and always did give Muhammad tough fights.

    Frazier hurt Ali. Norton flummoxed him. And yeah I'm painfully aware of the broken jaw.
