    Calzaghe:

    Speed.
    Power. (Early on)
    Chin.
    Style and craft.
    Belief.
    Stamina.

He proved it with no loses and the belts he won. He also moved up in weight and had success. He was never really beaten up or stopped.

Whitaker didn't have power. Leonard was too unorthodox to be the most complete fighter ever. Pep lacked power. Robinson is a better choice.

I think the answer is Roberto Duran or Marvin Hagler. Both had power, chin, stamina, speed in their primes; both could box or brawl; both could fight as orthodox or southpaws. It's no coincidence that one is the greatest lightweight of all time, and the other is arguably the greatest middleweight of all time.

Hagler could do it all. Larry Holmes was also very gifted.

    Rocky Marciano
    Roy Jones, Jr.
    Mike Tyson
    Floyd Mayweather, Jr.
    Joe Calzaghe

These guys never lost in their prime, because they had all the necessary tools to beat any type of opponent.

Mike McCallum had everything. Not the number 1 obviously, but as an all rounder he deserves a mention.

The fist time I really see Pep. He was ahead of everybody in that era. His style was so different to everyone else. Its hard to compare him to modern fighter because boxing have changed a lot and guys are stronger and better prepared. He was a great fghter even by today's standards
