Who was the most complete fighter: Leonard, Duran, or Hagler?

Yup, that's for sure JT.

Ali was such an amazing athlete in his prime, just an amazingly coordinated physical specimen for such a big fella.

He even looked amazing simply entering the ring. I have never seen another fighter except Sugar Ray Robinsoin look so graceful simply stepping between the ropes and entering the ring.

If Ali was a racehorse he would have been as they say in the trade " a really good mover ".

His work on the speedbag was absolutely incredible ( only Patterson for mine was as good ) and the young, prime Ali is the only heavyweight I have seen who hits the heavy bag on the move yet still hits hard. He used to practice two and three punch combos while on the move which is really hard to do.

Every other heavyweight I have seen work the bag had to be set to punch. Even someone like Mike Tyson.

Totally agree. Ali was extraordinary.

 

In what way?

 

Hager and Duran were far more well-rounded than Leonard, Ray just relied on speed and power but couldn`t set his shots up as well as Duran or Hagler, Hearns ws more well rounded than Ray also.

Duran didn`t punch hard enough P4P to stop Hagler.

 

If Hagler had been coming up that many weight classes he'd have got knocked out

 

They were all vastly proficient but I think Hagler was the most effective in more areas so to speak- He may not exceed Duran and Sugar Ray in some places but he more then makes up for it in others he was a man with no weaknesses.

 

Yes Ray had the most weaknesses out of these three.
