Pacquiao Khan GGG Froch Mayweather Jr To name a few, tried including just retired or older fighters.. I also think we have some very entertaining fighters now - such as Gervonta Davis, Usyk, Buatsi, Lomachenko, Joyce, Josh Kelly and of course the big 3 HW's - Joshua, Fury & Wilder.
As a boxer myself I appreciate that it takes a lot more guts to run into the fire and dish it out than run and hold. Boxing and point scoring are 2 different things. One is playing fencing, tag whilst the other is a fight. When you win the round because you landed one more jab, did you really win the round at all? I hate that form of scoring tbh.
For me its been Pac Salido Mayweather Ward AJ Wilder Matthysse Maidana Ruslan Golovkin Lemieux Kovalev Loma Rigo
Gotta respect boxing skills. At the same time, boxing is a sport and sports are form of entertainment that welcomes criticism. That's why it's broadcast to an audience. Some guys are just unwatchable.
Probably Cotto, didn't have any boring fights at all.every one was brutal. Marquez also. Pacquiao as well although less so since his KO loss Bandido Vargas had a few really nasty wars back to back. Carl froch had alot of wars Pascal, Bradley, provodnikov, Danny Garcia, amir Khan are some that deserve mention
Boxing and fighting are 2 different things. That form of scoring is how boxing is scored. Having more ‘guts’ doesn’t mean anything. Maybe you should change sports.
All of you but Kirk should be ashamed of yourselves. 29 responses and he's the only one to even include Orlando Salido. Orlando Salido was far and away the most entertaining fighter in the last 8-10 years. Nobody else even comes close, not even Pacquiao or GGG. Roman Gonzalez, Brandon Rios, Giovani Segura, and Francisco Vargas did some decent work in there, but nothing like Salido.
