That exact point was made to me on twitter. It was great for the fans, not so much for Ali.

IMHO: Gene Tunney doesn't belong even within sniffing distance of the top 10 Heavyweights of all time, and yet many include him. As a light Heavyweight a better case can be made to include him.

If Moorer doesn't stand in front of him and moves around he gets an easy decision over Foreman.

Cleveland Willams. No real accomplishment to speak of accept that Liston said he was a tough fight. His record against top-notch comp was pitiful.

Corrie Sanders. Mad talent, but he hated fighting, and lost to dramatically inferior fighters.

Ibeabucchi only because he has become a kind of legend. He beat a couple of very high quality but diminutive heavies. He was not the biggest fighter himself, and we don't know how he would have done against one of the big boys.

Holmes and both Klitschkos because the really great fighters weren't there on their records. Holmes did a little better, but his two best fights, Norton and Witherspoon, were either-way fights.

Tucker because people inflate him to inflate Tyson. He was big, well-schooled, and had a good chin, but he was in no way special.

Dempsey because he failed to fight Langford, Johnson, Jeanette, Siki, Greb, Wills, and Godfrey, some of which were more feasible than others but all of which were on the table.

Liston similar to Holmes and the Klitchkos. Patterson was a great fighter, but a LHW who was very chinny at heavy. Other than that. Cleveland Williams, Zora Foley, Eddie Machon and Nino Valez does not justify being ranked (by some around here) as a top 5 ATG heavy.

Bowe who's record after Holy was thin. Shoud have two DQ losses, and many felt that shot Tubbs beat him. His best wins, HolyX2 and Hide, were against cruisers against whom he had massive natural advantage.
